Star Wars Borders

I've been thinking about printing off a few of the Star Wars pics so Ive made up a border (which took way longer than it should have.) Hopefully this will motivate me to do up a few more

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #12 Batman

This is an example of really minimal need for drawing and colouring detail as the design of this costume is so iconic. I searched hard for proper Batman fonts but I could only find the Batman Forever one. I liked that font a lot as a kid though so I dont really mind.

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #11 Ray Stanz

This is a redrawing of a picture I did a couple of years back. I took the old drawing and re-inked it. Its funny to see the little changes that I've picked up in my linework over the past couple of years. I noticed a big difference in the way I draw facial features aswell, I pretty much ignored the old face drawing. All four of the guys will make it into the 80. Winston was always my favourite as a kid but now its probobly Ray

Gambit and Rogue Re-Coloured

Got some helpful advice on the colours for this piece, So I went in and retouched it

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #10 John McClane

Ah the best Christmas movie of them all. I have elements of all the first three Die Hards in here. Im quite happy with how the like ness came out, It looked horrible for a while until I moved his eys down a tad, its crazy how much a few millimetres can affect a look.

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #9 Robocop

Between Robocop and C3PO I've learned that I like drawing shiney things. I had many a sleepless night as a kid after seeing Murphy being blown to bits at the start of the movie. I have some vague recollection of some Commodore 64 game too.

Lord Vader

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Big news in Will land today as I've just signed on to do a Star Wars comic. Something I have always wanted to do. Ill still be drawing Farscape fulltime as always, infact, issue 17 which I have just finished was my favourite so far.
The comic will be set in the Clone wars and I will be pulling from the wealth of referance that I have whichfellow Irish men Killian Plunkett and Dermot Power have worked on

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #8 Boba Fett

Badass Boba Fett. Great character whos best moments come in the Clone wars series where as a young fella he goes on a vendetta against Mace Windu for killing his father.
I could probobly happily do the rest of the 80 with just Star Wars characters so I will have to keep reigning myself in.

Eighty Awesome Eighties Action Heroes #7 William Hudson

Aliens freaked the crap outta me as a kid, so needless to say there will be a few characters from it in the 80.
They're coming outta the walls. They're coming outta the goddamn walls.
